The Deed Poll clarifies IPART's rights and responsibilities in the agreement to engage the auditor and is to be signed by the auditee where IPART has not engaged the auditor (generally for benchmark statement audits and audits of NGAC creation). It must be signed by a person with the legal authority to sign on behalf of the organisation. The auditor must submit the Deed Poll with their detailed scope of work for approval by IPART.
